Store Manager

Hiring Location: Crawfordsville NAPA

Pay: $46,000.00 – $56,000.00 per year

Description of Position:

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations for their assigned store or stores. This includes, but is not limited to, customer service, oversight of employees, scheduling, payroll, sales and purchasing, inventory, and store management/upkeep.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Monitor store performance and contribute to the improvement of productivity and efficiencies.
• Manage daily aspects of the store and staff to ensure customer needs are met.
• Manage the schedule and ensure adequate human resources to meet demand.
• Supervisory responsibilities for all store employees (counter, driver, and sales).
• Address any customer complaints and/or concerns.
• Ensure a safe environment for all employees and customers.
• Maintain adequate inventory and handle all purchases, returns, cores, and vendor issues.
• Be able to complete all aspects of sales and counter roles: Assist customers with their automotive questions and needs, either in person or via the telephone, handle cash and other purchasing transactions, operate the electronic and paper cataloging system to retrieve up to date parts information, effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers, demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Automotive experience or retail management experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to assign and delegate tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to carry loads up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Must enjoy working with people in a fast-paced and exciting environment
